CSE Plastics Technology
Saving the environment......one problem at a time!
CSE Plastics Technology was founded in 2005 by Charles W. (Chuck) Sparks.
Chuck has 45 years of experience in plastic material science as well as extrusion and injection molding of plastics. He developed the ability to take used, agricultural bale wrap and turn that balewrap into a crumb that goes directly into injection molding machines. This is done with technology that does not use any washing lines or drying lines, and leaves little to no carbon footprint. CSE Plastics continues to develop new and innovative technologies to deal with other waste film and plastic problems.
Our biggest resource at CSE is the millions of pounds of used bale wrap that is available every year in the United States. It is therefore necessary to collect this bale wrap from farmers to keep them from burning and burying unwanted bale wrap. We do this by working closely with counties and state officials to set up voluntary sites where used bale wrap can be deposited without a tipping fee. The local officials and CSE reps educate farmers as to where and how to recycle their bale wrap, and 40 yard bins are placed by the receiving centres. Farmers unwrap their bales and when they have enough, they take it to the receiving centre. When the bins are full, CSE picks up the bale wrap free of charge, using state of the art equipment.
CSE would welcome partners who can use the crumb in their injection molding machines
